EHIR Academy
June 10-14th
The EHIR Academy is a nomination-based, 5-day, exclusive program for early-stage innovators designed to accelerate growth into the employer market. Innovators will gain access to our distinguished panel of industry experts and members, and engage in a variety of sessions specifically designed for early-stage solutions. Academy innovators will also attend 3 personalized 1x1 advisory sessions to dive even deeper into your solution. At the end of the week, each innovator team will pitch to a panel of EHIR member judges in our Pitch Competition, for the chance to present to the entire membership in July at our Academy Showcase.

PITCH COMPETITION
What is it?
The pitch competition takes place on Friday, the final day of Academy, from 10 am to 1 pm CST. Each Academy team will have 10 minutes to pitch their solution in front of our judge's panel, followed by 2-3 minutes of Q&A.
3 winners will be selected by the judging panel. Winners will be invited to present at an Academy Showcase.
Judging Criteria

Market Fit: Are you solving a relevant employer problem?

Innovative: Rating the quality and uniqueness of your innovation (and your ability to speak to it)

Fundamentals: Your leadership team, funding, and credibility of your solution overall

Potential Impact: Current or potential data around ROI, clinical outcomes, engagement, etc.

Quality of Presentation: Clear, concise, and complete
What to Include
Overview of solution, user experience, integration with employer ecosystem, highlighting solution’s unique features/ differences, outcomes using actual client experience, pricing– EHIR- specific pricing or pricing model otherwise.
What to exclude:
Restating/ describing “the problem”, long intros of founders/ executives, details on funding situation, too much information: power in brevity, do not read from a script!

You will be paired with a designated advisor and meet 1 on 1 before, during, and after Academy for a total of 3 hours.
