HOW YOU'LL HELP US KEEP CLIMBING (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) Responsible for being a key driver and resource for all mental health and work life activities for employees globally. Direct report to General Manager - Global Health & Wellbeing. Responsible for leading and developing the a team of direct reports including the Work Life Program Leader and the Aetna/RFL Onsite Mental Wellbeing Program Manager, Management Consultants and Onsite Coaches. Owns and directs all mental health and work life communications as well as vendor support and employee training. Develops content and review of all domestic and global communications that articulate the value and increase engagement in mental health and work life education and programs available to Delta employees and their dependents. Manage all vendor coordination to ensure seamless delivery of wellness programs within their scope including review of vendor communications, and monitoring performance metrics as well as employee experience. Manage, design, and implement policies and procedures that relate to employee wellbeing programs, specifically in the work life area. Subject matter expertise to gain buy in and drive accountability with divisional leadership for work life related strategies and initiatives providing key updates in data reporting, communications and support. Directly own manage, support and nurture the Peer Support Wellness Champions by overseeing the development of educational content, managing communication strategies, fostering local wellness initiatives and facilitating recruitment of new members. Will lead this group and responsible for all key decisions related to their development. Translates the Company’s strategic health and wellness goals into clearly defined and developed initiatives to impact the employee work life experience of divisional employees and their dependents worldwide. Partners internally with other Delta areas such as safety, BRG's, training etc. to gain employee feedback and coordinate events and communication. Benchmarks with external organizations to develop the best in class programming in the mental health and work life area. Track and report key performance metrics for wellness such as utilization of the EAP and work life programs, digital coaching platform, online content utilization and onsite event engagement. Collect and analyze survey and outcome data. Manage design, access and performance of all wellness related intranet content while keeping all documents updated. Plan, coordinate and implement key wellness campaigns and events that build the Delta Wellness brand, enhancement global employee engagement and influence employees to take charge of their wellbeing. Maintain continuous efforts in determining current corporate mental health, work life trends, including other airlines and industry standards resulting in recognition from distinguished corporate wellness organizations. Develops both strategic and tactical plans that creates a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and wellbeing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS) Bachelor’s Degree required in Health Promotion, Public Health, Psychology, Counselling or Mental Health, Business, Communications, Program Management, Change Management or Strategy or related field and at least 5 years of relevant required experience. Comprehensive working knowledge of employee wellness programming concepts, behavioral change and demonstrated strong project management skills are required. The Lead Program Manager must exhibit leadership qualities and be able to manage others. Requires excellent communication skills, including written, interpersonal and public speaking with the ability to connect and build meaningful relationships with all levels of the organization and external vendors. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple task and shift priorities to meet deadlines. Must possess strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including word, excel, and Power Point; experience in InDesign and Illustration applications a plus. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) Master’s Degree preferred. PMP certification preferred. Experience in the behavioral/mental health or work life area preferred.
