Partner with Manager of Health and Wellbeing on the development, implementation and management of healthcare benefit programs, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision and group life
Leads multi-disciplinary, high impact health and wellbeing strategic work
Plans, designs, develops, analyzes, communicates and implements benefit strategies and programs
Highly specialized industry knowledge of medical and pharmacy benefits programs
Analyze and interpret internal and external data to drive health and welfare program decisions
Sought out by other associates as a resource for problem/issue resolution
Manage and respond to complex and escalated benefit issues, including appeals
Uses in-depth understanding of clients' business issues to proactively address needs
Develops business decision documents and makes presentations to a variety of groups, including upper management and leadership levels
Consistently assumes leadership role among peers and resolves issues with minimal management intervention
Serves as a role model and mentor to others
Assumes duties of Manager in his/her absence
May assume budget responsibilities
Functions at the highest level of autonomy and influence
Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience with medical and/or pharmacy benefit programs
Experience with identifying, selecting and managing vendors, including experience with RFI’s and RFP’s
Preferred experience working with large, complex companies in the healthcare industry
Analytical skills, comfortable with financial information, building reporting, and communicating findings in an easy to understand manner
Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a clear and concise manner with all levels of leadership, vendors, consultants, and legal advisors
