About the job:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading Target’s company-wide Recognition strategy, in partnership with stakeholders across Target, and with our strategic vendor partner. You’ll lead meetings and connect with partners across HR, stores, supply chain, headquarters, and international partners, to ensure all thought partners have been consulted. Through strong vendor management skills, you will drive a strategic partnership to ensure we have a robust and effective Recognition program that meets our team members’ needs and drives a culture of appreciation across Target, at a cost-effective rate for our business. In addition to the Recognition work, you’ll also be responsible for driving our benefits engagement strategy for specific audiences across our team member population. You’ll be a key partner to the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team and others as we ensure that we are meeting team members’ needs in not only our benefits offerings, but that we are reaching all populations effectively to educate on the benefits available. Leverage your expertise to ensure Target’s offerings are meeting the needs of our diverse team member population and reach team members in a measurable and impactful way.
Our comprehensive benefits portfolio is designed to help team members take care of themselves, each other and their families. You will be responsible for managing existing programs as well as recommending new initiatives to ensure Target is positioned to attract and retain top talent through market-competitive benefit offerings.

4-6 years of work experience in recognition, diversity & inclusion, benefits, communication, or employee engagement
Strong project management skills, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maximize relationships, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to deliver messages with empathy and listen attentively
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; InDesign experience a plus
